Smart Tools Consulting
Vincent van Antwerp, MA, BCBA
I have been committed to providing high quality clinical services to individuals with disability for over a decade. I first completed my master’s degree in clinical psychology and found behavior analysis when I worked as a behavior therapist. I then completed a post master’s degree in behavior analysis at CSUN.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well as a certified instructor in Professional Crisis Management (PCM). I have provided trainings to caregivers, teachers, and behavioral staff worldwide. During my time as a behavior analyst I have provided treatment services consulting on some of the most challenging cases involving severe problem behavior and mentoring BCBAs on behavioral health therapy teams based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to children and adults with developmental disabilities
I am currently completing my doctoral degree in behavior analysis in the area of performance management investigating the role of goal setting and feedback in performance improvement.
I would like to see organizations that provide behavior analytic care extend their reach. Effective telehealth is one way behavior analysts can increase their accessibility, visibility, and care.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family outside, adventuring, exploring new cultures, and watching movies.
